Ryan White Project

Ending the HIV Epidemic Program

The federal Ending the HIV Epidemic (EHE) initiative is an ongoing effort to reduce the number of new HIV infections in the United States by at least 90% by 2030. EHE funds were used to support service providers in Fulton, DeKalb, Gwinnett, and Cobb counties which have some of the highest numbers in the nation of individuals recently diagnosed with HIV. Funds were used with Ryan White Part A to “…develop, implement, and/or enhance innovative approaches to engaging people with HIV who are newly diagnosed, not in care, and/or not virally suppressed…particularly around linkage to care, retention in care, reengagement in care, and adherence counseling.”
