I have been living with HIV since 2000. There was a time when I ignored my diagnosis. Then I got sick and from that point on I knew that I had to get serious about my health. There were times when I was working I could afford health insurance to get my meds. Other times I could not. Meds are expensive and can add stress at a level that can be deadly to some living with HIV. I know first-hand what that experience is like. I am glad that Ryan White is there to alleviate that stress so I can focus on other health concerns and live a healthier life. Because of Ryan White services, my future is a whole lot brighter.
